Outfit // I Love Moon-li-ness.

In all honesty I'm not quite sure I can pull of a floral headband, much to my annoyance. Oh how I wish I could be brave enough to just wear one outside ... I would wear one everyday in fact. Sadly I'm not so at the moment I'll just resort to taking photos of myself wearing it. Then I'll post one on the Internet for strangers to see, because that makes complete sense Aimee! (?!?!?!). Ive been obsessing over floral headbands for what seems like ages now, so it was about time I got one. I actually handmade this headband for my little sister (OK OK I used that as an excuse to make one!), and indeed I did spend around 3 hours hand stitching those flowers together ... I don't really think it needed to take that long, In fact most people could probably do it in an hour. What can I say I'm a slow worker! It would have been easier to just glue the flowers down however I felt that If I was gonna do one I was gonna do one proper! ... and so I did, however I regretted it after the first 30 minutes of hand stitching! Glue is definitely the way forward guys!

I actually wanted to share with you all my delightful moon wooden collar clips from Ladybird Likes. If you haven't already heard about the shop then you should definitely check it out as I can almost guarantee that you will instantly have a strong urge to buy something ... or all of it in my case! So amazing! I actually won this on a giveaway competition before Christmas over on Being Little (amazing blog!), which was incredible as I was virtually on the verge of purchasing them anyway! They are sooo perfect, honestly I can't even begin to describe how much I love them. I mean look their moons, how completely adorably amazing is that. It's no secret that I have a slight obsession with anything space related ... I secretly wish I was an astronaut after all! I have worn them so many times already, in fact every time I wear a collar now In my head I'm thinking to myself "should I shouldn't I?", and in the end I just give in as I can't resist their moon-li-ness!

Oh and yes I'm aware that this photo makes me look like a long lost relative of Casper the ghost ... I honestly can't help it!
Is anyone one else obsessing over floral headbands? and if so are you brave enough to take to the streets wearing one?

Beauty // Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb

Have you ever smelt a perfume for the first time and thought “This is ME. This is MY scent. This is the ONE. This is what I’ve been searching for MY WHOLE LIFE. This is DESTINY. This is LOVE AT FIRST SNIFF!”... OK maybe that’s just me and I’m completely insane, but being a self confessed perfume junkie (yes I just said junkie even though I hate that word!)I feel like I’m always searching for ‘The One’. You see I don’t have a signature scent as such; I have a collection of signature scents. I view my perfume collection as part of my wardrobe, therefore I have perfumes for certain occasions/ particular outfits that I feel work well with the particular scents (Does anyone else do this or am I just weird?).  So you see I admire people who have ‘a’ signature scent, because I feel like they know exactly who they are and exactly what they like ... I on the other hand don’t or at least didn’t until a few weeks ago.

The moment I discovered ‘Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb’ was a special moment. I honestly fell in love with the scent instantly, and I know that may sound pathetic; but it’s true.  I’ve always loved and admired Viktor & Rolf as designers and understood there design philosophy and vision. The concept and creativity of their collections have always inspired my own work, so it was obvious that I would be intrigued to find out if the perfume captures the same fairytale like magic. Honestly I can hand on heart say that without a doubt it does! It’s amazing! It’s the kind of smell that you wish was your natural scent (how cool would that be?).  It’s a very very very (emphasis on the “very”) girly feminine scent, which is perfect for me as I love to smell like a flower ( Yes ... I am slightly addicted to floral perfumes!). The scent is incredibly lingering and in my opinion gets better throughout the day (Its definitely more of a daytime perfume). I'll admit that I do indeed feel quite chic whilst wearing this fragrance, which I'm guessing is a sign of a good perfume as I am far from chic!

If its glorious scents of mingling jasmine, rose, freesia, orchids, and patchouli aren't enough to amaze you; then look at the packaging! The bottle is absolutely beautiful and would be the perfect addition to a dressing table (if only I had one! ugh!). So all in all I'm in love with this perfume, although I'm pretty sure you worked that one out for yourself! I'm not saying that this in my 'signature scent' forever, because I do like choice (and I'm indecisive), but for now its definitely a number one contender!

Do any of you have any "LOVE AT FIRST SNIFF" stories or any perfume recommendations?

Feel free to comment as I love reading about other peoples favourite perfumes ... I'm weird like that!
